The southwest, where peace is relatively being experienced, is holding a security summit to discuss the way forward. Still, its northern counterpart, now a hot zone for insecurity, is waiting for the FG to come to its rescue.
The agony of different nations within a country.
Documents obtained from the United States Department of Justice (DoJ) reveal that a coalition of pro-Biafra groups is behind the campaign of the ‘Christian genocide in Nigeria’, leading President Donald Trump to declare Nigeria a CPC.

Good morning, and congratulations to all NIGERIANS who stand firm against the US junta . The world has heard our voice never give up and keep pushing . Leave those Ibo'sAnimals losers .
They can't do anything in Nigeria without allowing them.
Everyone knows American soldiers have been in Chad since 2019 / 2024, but the Bokoharam terrorist are very much more active then than now. What did US soldiers do to counter them ? Nothing!
We are not all gullible like Ibo'sAnimals losers who war killed all their ancestors and parents like rat.
You prayed for a coup.
You wanted a civil war.
You demanded protests.
You crave invasion yet cry about marginalization.
Every leader in Nigeria fought their way to power — but you want to sit in a corner and expect the USA to hand it over to you.
This time shall pass!
Our oil sector is witnessing a robust transformation today because of the leadership President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has injected into the system, especially with the full implementation of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), which has restored investor confidence and encouraged new investments across the value chain.
While speaking at the Public Hearing organized by the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) on the Bill to establish the National Commission for the Decommissioning of Oil and Gas Installations (NC-DOGI), 2024, I made it clear that the PIA continues to deliver on the very objectives for which it was enacted.
The sector is now recording new Final Investment Decisions (FIDs) and witnessing renewed activities in upstream, midstream, and downstream operations, developments that were stagnant for over a decade before the #RenewedHope administration of President Tinubu.
In my submission to the Honourable Members, I emphasized that the influx of investments we have attracted highlights the critical importance of a stable legal framework like the PIA, which has reinforced investor confidence.
However, I drew attention to Sections 232 and 233 of the Act, which already provide for decommissioning and vest this responsibility in the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) @NUPRCofficial, in line with global best practices.
I therefore advised the House to step down the Bill, as it would duplicate existing responsibilities. A predictable and stable legal framework attracts investors; any deviation will send wrong signals to the global community, something we cannot afford at this crucial time.

⚠️Long Post⚠️
The issue here is the misinformation Tinie Tempah received and his laziness to verify facts. Ben Okri is an Urhobo man, but his mother is half Igbo. The third person mentioned is Bernardine Evaristo, who has Yoruba Aguda heritage on her Nigerian side.
Chimamanda was nominated but did not win, just like Chinua Achebe and three other Nigerians, one Igbo who was nominated twice, and two Yorubas with one nomination each. Chinua Achebe never won the award. What he received in 2007 was an honorary lifetime achievement award. He did not go through the same process that actual winners go through, such as being selected from among multiple nominees.
What I see in Tinie Tempah’s interview is an innate tribal pride common among many Igbos, who may not feel the need to dim their light so others can share their moment under the One Nigeria image. I will not criticise that, even though I believe most Igbos selectively use the One Nigeria identity when convenient.
Everyone should be proud of their tribe. Tinie is, and rightly so. He clearly stated he would answer the question from a personal perspective, and he did so as a proud Igbo man, supported by some skewed references. His laziness to check the facts, and relying on information passed around by people around him, should not be the focus. Those outside his group should do better by putting the accurate information out more often.
I would not put him up for criticism as someone with tribal hatred. He did not stop other non Igbo Nigerians from highlighting their ethnic identity whenever given the chance. He is not responsible for Nigerian parents who raised their children with the rule of “do not speak vernacular,” or who are liberal about history and tradition but extremely conservative about religion.
Only one Nigerian tribe tends to play too nice, even at its own expense. We cannot blame Tinie for that. If other artists or public figures choose to identify as Nigerian first because they let people gaslight them or lack cultural consciousness, Tinie does not have to be like them, and he should not be attacked for not doing so.
Nigeria is a country, a political entity, not a nation. We are the ones reducing our national identities as tribes when we speak as Nigerians. Nigeria may have a national anthem meant to unite the various nations within it, but nations are built on shared cultural and social identity. Countries, on the other hand, emphasize political governance and defined territories. If you choose to identify with your country before your nation, do not blame others for doing the opposite by promoting theirs and adding yours to theirs as a mere extra.
There is nothing wrong in promoting our culture and heritage, but it becomes harmful to future generations’ pride when we promote yet fail to preserve it. Preserving it means guarding it, and branding it with your tribal identity is part of that. Be Yoruba first, just like Tinie is Igbo first. That does not mean the unity of Nigeria is undermined. Do not let gaslighting or labels stop you from safeguarding your cultural heritage. Do not be like the cock telling the fox that the bright red comb on its head is not fire.
For those of you looking for original exhibition this is one👇. Check the name of the person's collection. She's not even Yoruba but because shes not a vulture, she gave the name in yoruba, recognized the origin of the fabric, no agenda, just a true lover or art. So please feel free to attend.
Some people keep asking why I say Ibo instead of Igbo. The answer is simple. Both spellings were used in the past, side by side, without drama. For years, I also went with Igbo until I discovered something deeper that most people overlook.
