As a kid I was always SHOOK that my mum would never come in the pool on holidays. We were all in there having so much fun and she was just sitting on the side. I was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING ITS SO MUCH FUN?!
Now, as a mother, I understand that she was taking a break from us. 🙈

Pros of having a 4yo and a 1yo:
- 4yo can help when 1yo demands his socks be taken off

Cons:
- 4yo stashes the dirty socks under the couch

Sam was putting on a load of washing this morning (after doing 3 yesterday) and I said to him “oh I was thinking of giving us the day off from washing but you’re right it’s better to just do it” and Milo pipes up and goes “ohhh I want a day off”.
