Lee Biscuits Malaysia, established in 1934, will close its factory in Pontian at the end of this month, China Press reports.

The brand, whose products include Marie biscuits, lemon sandwich biscuits and iced gem biscuits, is currently in the process of laying off its employees.

It is also said to be among the first manufacturers in Malaysia and Singapore to introduce spirulina wholemeal biscuits.
