to give, and not to count the cost;
to fight, and not to heed the wounds;
to toil, and not to look for rest;
to labor, and not ask for any reward,
save that of knowing that i am doing Thy will
Going to be off socials until the baby is born (and maybe after too). I’m feeling this urge to make a very thick and quiet cocoon around myself and my family and also I’d like to stop getting mad at people online every day. Please keep me and my family in your prayers!
@SweetcinnaAva Also this is crazy bc what type of mother doesn’t keep ANY handmedowns for potential future babies?? Does she not remember how it felt to hold little baby you in her arms and kiss you tenderly? So what if you get pregnant again soon? Go forth and multiply!!!
@SweetcinnaAva You’re going to be a wonderful and loving mother, and surely your experiences with your own family will drive you to be even better than they are. Don’t put any stock in their opinions of you, the only thing that matters is you and your husband and children now ❤️❤️❤️
@SweetcinnaAva My family used to also do this to me, and my in laws too. Once you see your little baby this fierce drive to protect her kicks in, and it will become a lot easier for you to shut these kinds of comments down, confidently. “Why do you feel comfortable saying that to me” is my fav
@mercurygurl Something very similar happened to me, crazy how “tolerance” and being civil to people despite their different beliefs seems to be very one sided 🥲
It’s amazing that modern medicine can keep this mother alive until her baby can be safely born
Any family should be thrilled if the baby had the chance to live
The reporting on this is so anti-human and hate-filled
Ok I used to be a ChatGPT big time hater but I have to say … I’m getting good results from having it make to do lists and menus and chore schedules and grocery lists and telling me how to fix what’s wrong with my sewing machine. I like her
@Utterly_Jean This is local to me and soon as they posted the first post I figured it was only a matter of time 😅😅 this area is too conservative for that lol
@MrsMagdaBeard I feel the same, my husbands “rest period” when he gets home is wrestling our kid(s) while I finish dinner usually lol, he only sees them for maybe 2 hours between work and bedtime and I think he values that more than total silence 😅
