Paank expresses grave concern over the enforced disappearance of Sohail Tagrani, son of Bahram Tagrani, aged 27, and Mohammad Tagrani, son of Mullah Saifullah Tagrani, aged 22, both residents of Khalilabad, Turbat.

According to information documented by Paank, the two men were detained on 30 August 2026 from Petak Picnic Point, Pidarak, Turbat. Paank’s information states that they were first detained by members of the group locally identified as Sardar Aziz’s death squad and were later handed over to personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) and Military Intelligence (MI). Their whereabouts and legal status remain unknown.

Paank calls on the Pakistani authorities to immediately disclose the whereabouts of Sohail Tagrani and Mohammad Tagrani, ensure their safety and access to their families and legal counsel, and either bring them before a civilian court and charge them with a recognizable offence or release them immediately.

Paank also calls for an independent, impartial and transparent investigation into their detention and disappearance and for those responsible for any unlawful detention or enforced disappearance to be held accountable in accordance with international human rights law.
