This is the real William Ruto, and if you think you can afford another 5 years under his rule, think twice.
Kenya can't afford another William Ruto reign. Imetosha.
“William Ruto is worse than Moi.”
Let me offer my Reputation Management and Public Policy services to the Ruto government for free as a Digital CommS Strategist. I feel like his team has failed him. Just this once. No more freebies after this, I charge for it:
When President Ruto personally launches every small project with a big ceremony, many people, from ordinary Kenyans, economists, policymakers, the international community and investors do not see it as proof of development. Instead, they see a warning sign about how government works, how public money is spent and whether public institutions in Kenya really do their jobs.
The message the President wants to send is: “The government is working, and development is reaching every part of Kenya.” But the message that ends up across is: “Government departments cannot deliver projects unless the President shows up.” Well, save for love of credit for everything, Ruto sabotages himself.
It creates doubt. If the President has to attend the launch of a market in Trans Nzoia, a water tap in North Eastern or a bridge in Enziu, Ukambani, questions arise: Do ministries, county governments, and agencies lack the power or confidence to deliver projects on their own? Where are the CSes, PSes, Governors, MPs? Are there any power structures in that regime?
They also wonder whether approvals, land, permits, budgets and payments to contractors depend on knowing or reaching the President. That makes Kenya a risky place to invest, except for predatory investors and - wit for it.......the international corrupt moguls looking to launder money.
Spending millions of shillings on ceremonies for small projects can is wasteful especially when the projects may be useful but they are routine. Investors care about value for money, not pomp, number of redhead police or speeches.
But I hear Ruto advises his advisors!

The story of June 25th 2024 is already written and as they say, the ink is dry. Those attempting to rewrite it will find it especially difficult because this particular piece of history is written in blood. Speaking as someone who was present in Parliament that day, the events depicted in the #BloodParliament documentary by #BBCAfricaEye are not fabrications. They happened. We all saw it live and on our screens. We must encourage these stories to be told from all angles for the sake of truth and justice. Those who are uncomfortable with this are wrestling with their own consciences and we cannot help them with that.
As a student of Sociology who has spent his time studying human behavior. DP Ruto presidency which I hope never happens will be Lethal than Moi's. You should pay attention on how he responds to criticism, how he acts when angry, how he lies in plain sight etc. Itakuwa mazishi.
Did State Corporations buy shares in Kenya Pipeline IPO to hold them for Aliko Dangote? If this is proven directly or through circumstantial evidence, it will violate every applicable provision of the Constitution, Statutes & established law. State institutions cannot be proxies for individuals. As over Kshs. 42B of public money was involved, Kenyans deserve the whole truth. In the US, the judicial system has developed the law called “facading”, where companies & its Directors are held criminally liable for financial engineering & manipulating the capital markets.
