“You don’t have to debate the history of the Middle East to resolve the conflict there.” Sam Harris on why he believes the real issue isn’t ancient grievance, but present-day values, intentions, and ideology.
In humanity's eternal quest for pleasure, companies found ways to monetize addiction. Historian David Courtwright called it "Limbic Capitalism" in his magnificent book "The Age of Addiction."
