not a single person has wondered whether dolly's life had any meaning because she didn't have any kids. it's almost like your legacy is about what YOU do with your time here; not how many people you can make.
She hasn’t even had a moment to catch her breath, yet another life is already depending on her for nourishment and comfort.
Motherhood is truly something.
The system is created for boys to succeed. Which is why they created avenues for girls to level the playing field. If boys are no longer succeeding - blaming the equitable opportunities girls are receiving as the reason boys are failing is nonsensical. It means something is happening with how boys are navigating a system already made for them; men still make more than women in the workplace, girls are still being preyed on and getting pregnant, girls are still being pipelined into nursing, and teaching and are fighting for STEM education - the statistics are there, lol. Do boys have male mentors? Do boys have third spaces in Ghana they feel safe in? What are men in Ghana doing to protect and support boys? Complaining that boys are being neglected isn't enough btw, what are you doing about it?
When boys led every metric for 100yrs, nobody credited policy. Nobody said boys only led because schools were built for them, teachers expected more of them, there was affirmative action and families paid their fees first. Male advantage was read as merit. Female advantage
