The idea that teams like Ajax, Brugge, Sevilla, Porto, Zenit, Kyiv dropping down made it harder is nonsense- if it did, why didn’t they win it?

Roma were in Europa league this season, in CL next season.

Reality is some very good teams will fluctuate between the two. Including Arsenal.
