@attertweet Good read! You might also wanna include @MarlinProtocol in your next report under fungible compute with the added secure enclave layer. dApps can outsource any server level operations to the Marlin Oyster network which guarantees privacy/confidentiality et all.
Notice for bot operators, validators & other receivers on the Marlin network:
Post March 6, receivers will be required to stake POND to be able to send tickets (proportionate to their stake). Clusters will be rewarded in proportion to submitted tickets.
(iv) Thus, receivers who stake more POND will have a greater influence over which clusters get more tickets and hence more rewards.
(v) Producers are nodes that send blocks/transactions to the clusters. Currently, their clients switch between clusters every block.
(vi) After the update, producers will be switching clusters over longer intervals. This means clusters will be chosen and thus eligible to receive tickets less often but potentially for longer durations at a stretch bringing in some variance over reward distribution.
Oysters can be part of several recipes by changing a few key ingredients 🦪
Similarly, Marlin Oyster can cater to a wider variety of Web3 use cases with a few complementary features.
