Living in Airdrie, working in the non profit sector. Dog dad to a Husky/GSD. BPD warrior, and Ehlers Danlos Zebra. Single gay guy, because gay dating sucks
In December 2020 I suffer a blackout followed by a seizure. I landed on a kitchen counter in work, which resulted in my dislocating and fracturing my right shoulder. At the time it was a routine procedure, which manipulated back in place. 90% success rate ๐๐ป I went into the 10%
Yodel, able to give me a time slot and delivered first attempt. @RoyalMail seems to have vanished with my medication, canโt get the phone line working. Sorting office is closed, and no way to email other than emailing Mr Cochrane

@RoyalMail Has to be by far the worst delivery service. Initial time slot provides a nearly 5hour window. Postmen turn up when they feel like it, or not at all. Sorting office open for 2 hours a day. Unusable service if you work during the day ๐คฌ
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
Bit late to the party, but havenโt read a book in a good few years. Recovering from comic con and decided to give this a read. @ColtonLHaynes did an incredible job, glad it was published authentically rather than heavily edited.
@DWPgovuk You need to fix the healthcare system, there are so many people on stupidly long waiting lists, being gaslighted, misdiagnosed or simply not treated. That is a core reason people are having to claim disability benefits or deemed unfit to work. This plan is draconian
As a former work coach I get this frustration, some people need a work coach to build up their skills and confidence in a way that meets their needs. It in no way means they are incapable of the job role,& the purpose is to set them up to succeed not fail. Poor show @tobycarvery
This case will now be decided by a fresh First tier panel. They now need to decide based on individual merits, and it holds the council to account. The main win is that the councils decision making was deemed to go against their Public Sector Equality duty.
I challenged a local council on my PCN as a result of not displaying a blue badge as a result of a cognitive impairment and chronic pain flare up. I used the Public Sector Equality duty to say that a blanket policy was discriminative. Happy with the UT decision

January 23 I was told there is no fix, so I will always have a limited functioning dominant arm. The night of being told I was admitted to hospital, under security watch. From there I knew I could either admit defeat or fight. Iโm now in the country I love in my dream jon.
MENTAL HEALTH:
During this journey, I was diagnosed with BPD. I lost my driving licence for a year, and the ability to access green spaces or the gym. 2021 was a ticking time bomb, with poor action from mental health team. I attempted suicide, and felt suicidal until mid 2023.
I am happy with this progress, my workouts are adapted and I am limited in what I can do. Pain and fatigue are factors I need to take into consideration and can sometimes stop full workouts. I do what I can do, and Iโm glad to see progress.
When I was diagnosed with Arthritis late in 2023, I decided to put effort back into my workouts like I did prior to 2020. Physiotherapy got me a gym pass, so I used the money I would have spent on a PT.
Cut of 2023 - latest scan to refer back to ortho after relocating to Scotland. I no longer have a rotator cuff, and I have osteoarthritis. During this process I was also diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which explained the poor ortho success rate.
