If African rulers did not have their heads so far up their asses, they would have realised by now that this is the moment to develop policies that guarantee Africa’s interests and sovereignty.
This is by far the clearest opening Africa has had in decades to break free from the shackles of imperialism. Yet somehow, these African rulers are so blinded by greed, cowardice and their own stomachs that they cannot even smell the coffin of the system they continue to worship.
The United States imperial position is weakening. This is precisely the moment when African rulers should be coming together and forcing the world to recognise Africa as an equal, whether the rest of the world likes it or not.
The United States is drowning in debt, locked in rivalry with China, entangled in the war involving Russia, losing the war with Iran and facing growing tensions elsewhere, alienating allies and dealing with pressures that continue to expose the limits of its power. There is no way this declining empire can easily withstand a unified Africa that collectively demands sovereignty, freedom and respect.
Instead, African rulers are sitting on the sidelines while other nations renegotiate their positions, assert their sovereignty and prepare themselves for a rising multipolar world.
They are waiting to see which power emerges on top, hoping that whoever wins will be benevolent enough to throw them a few crumbs.
These are men who are supposed to be leading more than a billion people, yet they tremble in the presence of other men.
I know African women who would look these imperialist dead in the eye and tell them to go fly a kite. Yet we have men who are supposedly responsible for protecting these women and their societies pissing themselves in the presence of Trump, shivering in the presence of Macron and licking the boots of Netanyahu.
African rulers have chosen to abandon the mandates of their own people. They have deliberately blinded themselves to what is happening around them because their stomachs come first.
They stuff stolen money into foreign accounts, buy properties they will never need and accumulate wealth they will never have enough time to spend.
They sell their people’s dignity, sovereignty and humanity for pieces of man-made paper and material possessions that will disappear long before their names mean anything.
And to the children of these men, beyond the ill-gotten wealth you enjoy, how are you proud to be the children of spineless men you call fathers?
To their wives, beyond spending the money meant to improve the lives of poor Africans, how do you proudly call such men your husbands when you know that they shiver in the presence other men?
Men bending their spines in presence of other men.
You will all die and be forgotten. That is if our people don’t rise to take your lives by themselves. History will not even talk about you people.
I’ve always been the biggest @Apple fan but I can’t help but feel like they’re slacking right now. Siri should be on the level of @openclaw or further. I guess we’ll see.
Excuse me?!

Ati "trying to incite salaried Kenyans". As if 40% non-impactful deductions on my salary is a vacation. 😤🙄

The artist says “what a beautiful day”
The business man says “What a productive day.”
The hacker says “I know.”
