@Timmytomma90 The first game just doesn't hold up anymore, so it's a really hard series to get into. I played the first one when it came out and loved it, but I could never keep up with it once it sprawled.

I don't know why they bothered adding more characters after Joker anyways.

Western take on the xianxia novel. Has a lot of shonen elements, martial arts, and progression. Good characters and worldbuilding. The audiobooks are some of the best as well.

I'm really excited to see how much OW2 opens the game up to folks who don't do PVP, but have loved the characters for years. The inclusion of PVE is going to be wild.

@belghast This is a terrible screenshot, but Tablua Rasa (The MMO) did something similar in 2007. Hellgate London also looks like it did something similar.

@belghast I think you're right with Borderlands, but I feel like it came earlier than that. The closest I can find that is earlier is Diablo 2, but it lacks the distinctive light pillars. It has the loot explosion though.
