For the last 18 months, whenever we said we were planning the largest fireworks show in the history of the world, the reactions were skeptical. Too complex. Too large. Too few launch locations.

But through extraordinary interagency collaboration and a relentless belief that the question was HOW, not IF, we did it. A world record, and a reminder on our 250th that the American spirit is defined by an unwavering belief that no challenge is too great and no idea is impossible.

JUST ANNOUNCED: The Washington Monument Illumination returns to the National Mall July 1 through July 5. Each evening, an 18-minute projection-mapping presentation will light the Monument with the people, places, and moments that have shaped the American story, ending with the Monument glowing as a giant birthday candle.

This is Todd “Let’s Roll” Beamer, who died heroically while trying to retake United Flight 93 from Al Qaeda terrorists on 9/11. His final resting place, is in Cranbury, NJ — where he was living with his wife and children before his murder. Cranbury is located in NJ-12, where the new Democratic nominee for Congress is Adam Hamawy.

Hamawy was a close associate and translator to Omar Abdel-Rahman, aka the ‘Blind Sheikh,’ an arch terrorist convicted of masterminding multiple plots against targets in NYC — including the World Trade Center. Hamawy testified at Adbel-Rahman’s trial, as a defense witness.

It has also been reported that Hamawy traveled to Bosnia to volunteer at an organization that was later unmasked as an Al Qaeda front group.

One of Hamawy’s loudest and most high-profile supporters and endorsers has openly declared that America deserved the 9/11 attacks.

Hamawy is now the prohibitive frontrunner to represent Todd Beamer’s district in the United States Congress.

Pallbearers and attendees are being sought for the funeral of 98-year-old WW2 veteran John Bernard Arnold III, who died on May 6th with no living relatives.

Visitation will be this Monday, May 18th at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Hanson, Massachusetts at 10am.

A funeral mass will follow at 11am, and burial will take place at Cedar Knoll Cemetery in Taunton, Massachusetts.
