The older I get, the more I realize routines make life so much easier. Make a schedule and stick to it and watch how much better you feel and less stressed you are.
I absolutely love when people are just genuinely good people. When their presence feels like a breath of fresh air. The way they uplift the space around them with their love. Just pure and purposeful intentions. These people are the biggest blessings.
Eventually I think the best coping mechanism is a hobby. Your interests will always nurse you back to joy. Reading, writing, playing a sport - find something that brings joy, then spend enough time nurturing it. Rely on it to always help you find your way back.
Today I learned about a term called a "glimmer" which is the opposite of a trigger. Glimmers are those moments that make you feel joy, happiness, peace, or gratitude. Once you train your brain to be on the lookout for glimmers, these beautiful moments will appear more and more.
