This post got some attention yesterday. If you are interested in understanding Pragmatism better, I recommend @_MichaelBacon's book which "show[s] that pragmatism is a contested tradition, indicating how different pragmatists have interpreted the insistence on attending to the practical."

I don't believe Michael is writing from a Christian perspective, nevertheless he does a great job interacting with primary sources and showing the different schools of thought related to the topic.
