A bunch of Americans are salty that Canada is looking to Europe for partners. What did you think would happen in this trade war? That we would simply bend to the demands of an unintelligent, bullying, child molesting, convicted felon?
Some Americans are also saying that we can't replace the US trade volume...
UH DUH! We aren't looking to replace ALL of it. We are making preparations, we are calculating and planning. We don't make rash decisions unlike some political leaders...
These are *very* exciting times in electric trucking.
Yet most media is silent on this, with nearly no dedicated media sites for e-trucks.
So I built it myself.
Meet eTruckwire, a fully dedicated e-trucking hub with daily news and trackers.
Explore: https://t.co/30aZRBerPU
We already cover plenty of e-truck heavy-duty charging news on EVwire and I see a real gap in the market for a dedicated view.
Now at IAA event in Europe, I got confirmation from talking with many in the space - this is needed.
A one-stop hub for all heavy-duty EV geeks.
Here's what we're starting out with:
- Daily e-truck and heavy-duty charging news coverage with our dedicated no-bs and concise takes.
We skip the big round text and get to the point in the first paragraph.
- Biweekly newsletter rounding up the most important developments. Not as a link-drop type of newsletter, nobody likes those -- a real curated one with context from myself.
- no google ads, ever
- We track the fleet orders of heavy-duty electric trucks, and the news around the deliveries (these two don't always match, do they), in a dedicated page coming soon
- We already track e-truck sales per country, find the resource from the site, and we'll start creating resources for full historical and monthly views on that.
- We'll track the heavy-duty charging rollout, with maps coming soon for both Europe and US,
- We'll track the policies, the partnerships, and the funding news
If you are in the heavy-duty space, I invite you to add me to your e-trucking PR list. Happy to respect all embargoes.
And let me know if you want to collaborate to get in front of all the heavy-duty EV geeks across my channels.
Every heavy-duty EV geek, whether from an OEM, the charging side, or anywhere in the value chain, or an e-curious fleet operator, should consider signing up for the newsletter, right at the subscription box at the site.
If you're among our 14,500 EV geeks in our EVwire newsletter list already (lots of you are), you'll start getting these automatically.
If you can't find the subscribe box or want a shortcut, just DM me your email and I'll get you on board.
PS, I'm still sitting on whether the eTruckwire name suits this.
It makes sense in our larger ecosystem (stay tuned).
But for now, you can access the site for your daily e-truck news at:

(I'm also at the IAA TRANSPORTATION for the last day, find me roaming around between all of the electric trucks!)
@KevinEspiritu Quality towels (all types, ie: dish towel, bath towel, face cloth, cleaning cloth etc.) go a long way! Yes more expensive but do a better job of drying/cleaning, last longer and you feel good using them.
Here is your first full walkaround of the two European Tesla Semis in Hannover, Germany.
Also had a quick chat with @danWpriestley and the team.
I'll also link everything I'm learning about @tesla_semi today, all the details and interior shots, in the thread🧵:
Are there any EV only dealerships in North America yet?
I mean, they might get some ICE as trade-ins that they would resell, but any dealerships targeting EVs only?
@Shift_EVehicles seems to be one of the only ones I can find.

Zoox shares a video of its robotaxi braking for a sudden skateboarder and says "One advantage of mounting sensors high on the Zoox robotaxi is a better view of the world around it."
We had 46,499 readers for our https://t.co/948vKLdVjm articles in August, all EV geeks. Doubled from July. 🥳
I will keep my promise of never adding Google Ads to the site.
But I welcome EV-related companies - reach out if you'd like to reach our geeks with something relevant.
It'll be a native, non-interruptive yet flagged ad, and we'll make it valuable to readers. Our audience:

99.8% are EV geeks (some petrolheads lurking)
If you get into a partnership with me today, you can ride our growth curve together with us. Send me a message, and I'll show you how.
September will be another double-up in the reader counts, not to mention the 30k+ EV geeks already following us on socials, 100k+ in niche social groups, and 14k+ in our newsletter!
Before you blink, we'll be at the top 5 most-read EV (&AV) news sites in the whole Western world.
I won't stop before we're at the top.
@danielcberk The 4-week paid sabbatical after 5 years is a nice touch! Rewards longer term employees.
Also, not having to use vacation during Christmas is really nice!
