Recently in P1/2, we have started our new writing block on traditional tales! We put together a jigsaw with clues about our story. We have also been learning about plants and are growing our own cress, potatoes, radishes, spring onions and flowers! @HareleeshillPS
Primary 1/2 have had a fabulous #WorldBookDay! We started with a visit from author @KenIlgunas, who helped us write an adventure story about a bear! @HareleeshillPS @HareReads
For #SaferInternetDay we read a story all about Digiduck and the Magic Castle. We drew our favourite parts, made some with playdough and even re-enacted the story with puppets! We spent some time talking about how we use the Internet and how to make it safer β¨οΈ @HareleeshillPS
Yesterday was our last session with Chris, our football coach from Larkhall Thistle. We spent lots of time developing our football skills over the last 4 week and look forward to using them in the future! β½οΈ @HareleeshillPS
P1/2 have also started our new topic on our local area. We started by playing I-Spy for local landmarks, then spent some time exploring our local area on Google Earth! The children had some fabulous questions about their area that we will investigate over the next few weeks β¨οΈ
P1/2 have had a super busy Monday - we started by looking at multiplication and skip counting in 2s! We had lots of fun making groups of 2s and counting them! β οΈ @HareleeshillPS@HareleeshillMa1
Last week was World of Work Week and we had some fabulous visitors in to tell us all about their jobs! P1/2 asked some great questions and had lots of conversations about what they want to be when they grow up! @HareleeshillPS πππ
