Surgery couple hours longer than expected but mainly due to more needing to be removed than planned. No complications. We're finally home now and he's safe in bed.

Thank you everyone for your kindness and words of support this week. Now onto a smooth recovery. 😮‍💨❤️

Haven't had an inkling of idea on how to share much about life lately online. I know in the end it all gets weaponized, but I still aspire to keep clear communication despite knowing such things.

My husband was diagnosed with thyroid cancer quite a few months back and is scheduled for surgery this Thursday for a full thyroidectomy. Odds are favorable compared to many different forms, but cancer is still cancer, and his suffering is still suffering. I can't do much to save him myself, and that's a horrific feeling for those who know. I've had suggestions of starting campaigns, but honestly I wouldn't even know where to begin. It's all been so overwhelming. It has been for a while for us.

If you could lift him up in prayers and love during this time I would be ever so greatful. He's my favorite human, my best friend, and such a wonderful father.

And F cancer. My prayers, love, and support go out to everyone else out there struggling from it right now, as well. I'm so sorry. One day at a time. ❤️
