Karren has turned off replies so I’ll reply here - there’s so much wrong with this tweet. a) striking teachers are trying to ensure there are enough teachers now and in the future to teach your children, whether you agree with them or not, that’s what they are trying to do b) children missing school and not coming back is nothing to do with teachers c) You attended an exclusive preparatory and boarding school up to age 18 - you have no idea of the working conditions and experiences of teachers/students in the state sector at all.
What a half term! There were tears but so many more highs and celebrations
Starting the Easter break with the first night of the blessed month!
Ramadhan Mubarak ✨
🧵 How to support students fasting in your classroom this Ramadan:
1/10 - Wish them a Ramadan Mubarak! This goes a long way and young Muslims will love teaching you the correct pronunciation if unsure.
Ramadan Mubarak to everyone celebrating at #edutwitter.
Wishing you a blessed, tranquil month.
To those who aren’t, Muslims believe that:
‘A person is either your brother in faith or your equal in humanity.’
May our prayers this month give everybody inner peace.
🤲🏼❤️
A reminder for teachers of just how much the work they do matters.
What a lovely moment to take the profession into the run-up to Christmas in one of its hardest ever terms.
2 years ago today I started my #PGCE😱
2 years on, I’m a RQT (if they’re still a thing) in an amazing school having gone through a heavily disruptive training and #NQT year…
Can’t say it’s been the easiest ride but it’s all been worth it so far…

@jemmy_dodger@MrTs_NQTs I travel just shy of an hour and it’s a blessing in disguise. You’re forced to take downtime during the commute which is needed!! I’d definitely recommend it
I have loved everything about living in Leicester and working in Peterborough up until now… How do Leicester schools have 5 days left and we have 13? 😭 #SummerReady
