@Mr_Chmiel We read “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio as our full class novel at the start of the session. Great themes based around inclusion, kindness etc. Kids loved it! 😊

@MissSCampbellx I was doing the PGDE primary at Dundee last year. I thought missing March-May and final placement was hard enough. I can’t imagine what it’s like now for students. But if you get through this (which you will), you’ll get through anything. It’ll all be worth it!! 🖤

Got asked to come up with an idea for a school theme day next week and each class was to vote and submit ONE idea to the HT. My class chose “wear all black” day. I SWEAR they are morphing into me. Not the most cheerful of ideas but I’m lowkey loving it... 🖤

Good luck to all the students starting their placements next week. It’s a whirlwind experience, tough at times yet exciting and it’ll fly by. My main piece of advice is to ask questions and use every situation as a learning opportunity. 🖤
