ππ Reception had a wonderful time visiting Smithills Farm yesterday! We enjoyed lots of exciting activities, including a tractor ride, riding a donkey, and feeding the sheep. It was a fantastic day full of fun, learning, and unforgettable memories! ππ΄ @HollinPrimary
This morning, reception bathed the ducklings in the pool. It was lovely to watch them swim, and there were lots of conversations about where ducks live. @HollinPrimary

Three ducklings have now hatched from the eggs and Reception have named them Sprinkles, Sofie and Cherry πβ¨ @HollinPrimary

Reception class have been learning how to find half. Today, we made our own pizzas and practised halving them into equal parts. We enjoyed eating one half in class, and the other equal half is being taken home π π π§ π @HollinPrimary
Today two caterpillars came out of their cocoons, so we released them this afternoon!!
The rest have gone home with Miss Griffin, and she will look after them till they have come out and she will show us the release when we come back after half term!! @hollinprimary
Reception had a brilliant time searching for chocolate eggs during our Easter egg hunt β it was wonderful to see their excitement!

The children enjoyed tasting Indian foods, making Eid cards, trying mehndi designs, and finishing with fun party games.
