I saw growth in academics, attendance, and behavior, and growth that no test can measure in areas such as confidence and trust. I’ve grown a lot as a person too and thank my team, students, school, & CYCO so much. I’m a better person because of this experience. #makebetterhappen

Yesterday, I officially completed my two years and ~3,500 hours of service with City Year Columbus. I was also awarded the Priscilla Tyson Leadership Award! #makebetterhappen

When I asked a student what motivated them to write more than I'd even asked for, they responded with, "After our pep talk, something you said just really stuck in my head and I knew I could do it." #makebetterhappen
