January blues maybe hitting for some, but not in Aberbargoed! Today Suzie Shark sang against Daisy Dinosaur in an epic first round battle! Daisy made it through to the semi-finals and we unmasked our first competitor Suzie aka Mrs Phillips! Brilliant first round! Da iawn pawb. 🎤

[Mrs Hall-Moore @mrshallmoore]

Sending my grateful thanks to the Staff, Pupils and Parents @AberbargoedPS for the wonderful farewell I received upon my retirement. I really appreciated the kind words, lovely messages, and generous gifts received and will always be grateful for my time at Aberbargoed Primary.

[Miss Griffiths @_Miss_Griffiths]

Dosbarth Llewelyn, it has been an eventful term! From loads of hard work, Christmas concerts to partying the day away yesterday! We want to say a big thank you to all the children and their families for our Christmas wishes and gorgeous treats. We wish you all a wonderful Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in January! Lots of love from all of us to you. Nadolig llawen! 🎄☃️🎁

[Aberbargoed Primary @AberbargoedPS]

We wished the wonderful, kind, caring, fun-loving @mrshallmoore a fond farewell as she begins her retirement. Mrs Hall-Moore has served the community of Aberbargoed for nearly 30 years. Her dedication to the community of Aberbargoed has been outstanding. Thank you for everything.

[Aberbargoed Primary @AberbargoedPS]

Wishing all of our wonderful families a fabulous Christmas. It’s been a brilliantly busy half term with lots of wonderful memories made. Thank you for your endless support. We’ll see you in the new year…2025 is going to be amazing! 🤩

[Aberbargoed Primary @AberbargoedPS]

Our Year 4, 5 and 6 performers brought sheer joy to their performance today. We are proud of each and every pupil for giving their all to entertain large audiences today. To see your confidence blossom through rehearsals has been wonderful. Da iawn pawb! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

[Miss Griffiths @_Miss_Griffiths]

Today’s concert was outstanding! I am so proud of each and every one of year 6 (year 4 &5 too). So much so, I am still smiling writing this message. This was their last Christmas concert at Aberbargoed Primary and they absolutely smashed it! They brought a tear to my eye with the wonderful memories that were created. Da iawn pawb! ♥️🎄

[Aberbargoed Primary @AberbargoedPS]

We had a real treat today. Pupils from year five and six went to sing for residents of Hillview Care Home. The residents joined us in singing and dancing to some of our favourite Christmas songs. We can’t wait to go back and visit in the new year. 🎵 🎄 #PowerOfSong #Community

[Aberbargoed Primary @AberbargoedPS]

We love to support our community. Today this wonderful group of young people performed for the @AberbargoedCAT Christmas event. They brought joy, laughter and Christmas spirit through music. Well done ACAT for a wonderful event for our community to enjoy.

[Aberbargoed Primary @AberbargoedPS]

If you have the opportunity to experience this magical show, jump at it! Diolch @puppetsoup & @NOutNAllan for another fantastic opportunity for our community to experience such high quality performances on our doorstep. We are so proud of our Y4 Young Promoters! @MrsRoach_Rooke

[Aberbargoed Primary @AberbargoedPS]

What an amazing success for the newly formed Friends of Aberbargoed. We hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas Fete. Thank you so much to everyone involved in planning, donating, shopping for items, helping on stalls, cleaning up and everything else that goes on behind the scenes!

[Aberbargoed Primary @AberbargoedPS]

Busy elves have been helping prepare the school for the arrival of Santa on Friday in the Friends of Aberbargoed Christmas Fete. 🎅 🧑‍🎄 @_Miss_Griffiths

Lots of work being completed throughout school to prepare for the pupil led mini enterprise stall. #Enterprising #Creative

[Dosbarth Glyndŵr - Year 5 @misssnailham7]

Year 5 loved our Circuit explorers workshop! We learned about conductors, insulators and making different circuits. We also talked about how we could design a semiconductor circuit to help us in Antarctica. Thank you for coming, you were amazing!
