Our annual Carol Service was held down at St Cuthbert’s Church this evening. It was a lovely family event and the children did us very proud as always. Thank you to all who came and supported us. We wish you a Merry Christmas! @SCFMBradfordDoL 🕯️🎶✝️
Year 3 had such a lovely afternoon doing their @Skills_Builder Food Festival! Thanks to the helpers and parents for coming to see us- hope you enjoyed the food from around the world 🌎
Year 3 have enjoyed experimenting in science today to understand why our bodies need bones. We made paper doll versions of ourselves and then moved them around and saw they were floppy so we added straws to represent our bones- our paper dolls could then stand up!, 🦴🩻
Year 3 enjoyed a mini class Sports Day in PE today! We had stickers for winners as well as those that showed the best technique that we have covered this term 🏅
DT Fun in the Sun for year 3 this afternoon! We have started constructing our Junk Model cars out of different recycled materials- next week, we are adding the wheels 🛞
Water Transportation Experiment in Year 3 today! We put paper flowers, with their leaves folded inwards, into water and watched them open up as the water travelled up the paper!

Thanks Bradford Industrial Museum for taking us back in time!
We used ink pen, slates, recited times tables, used an abacus and said a prayer
It was fun but we think we prefer school in 2024 📚
Year 3 have had a lovely morning completing their Pedestrian Crossing Training! We need to remember our Green Cross Code- find a safe space, look, listen, think , arrive alive 💪
Year 3 have been discussing the importance of John the Baptist in the life of Jesus. We created a piece of art showing God’s message shining down when Jesus was baptised by John!
In RE, year 3 explored the different colours used by artists. We discussed how this links to the messages from the parables! We compared the parable of the Sower (who spoke of spreading Jesus’ word) to the parable of the Unforgiving servant (who chose not to forgive someone)!
