Now all the family know, I can finally announce:
I GOT THE JOB! π
I got the call on Monday and accepted my conditional offer/contract later on in the week. I cannot wait to start in September!!

@MissCTT20 Honestly, 21 years later and I still take a breath before going out in public in anything that shows off the scars. But it gets much easier, and you'll find most people won't even notice! Don't let anything stop you wearing what you want to wear, and just celebrate being you! β€οΈ
@MissCTT20 So, you're not alone! But see them as battle wounds and the miracles that they are! Scars are a reminder that we can survive and thrive in adversity. It's hard, but don't be self-conscious, be proud of the battles you've survived and show the world how strong you truly are! πͺ
@MissCTT20 Hey, I'm 26 and had major surgery as a baby and child (without them, I'd never have been able to walk). It's left me with 2 operation scars that run either side and up the back of and over the top of my right foot. I also have operation scars down the middle of both my legs...
π King's Coronation π
My Year 5s worked together incredibly well to create this beautiful crown as part of a school competition! Proud is an understatement π₯Ίβ€οΈ
π¨NEW: MPs to receive Β£2440 pay rise from April. Will see them earning Β£86,584. No money for nurses, teachers and other public sector workers though!
Back to school today for teacher training!
Excited to see the kiddos tomorrow! I know they're all excited because I've got to do a birthday dance for them tomorrow π€£
@neyas_mindset Oh no, that's horrendous!! They are. I'm prone to chest infections so have to be so careful. I once had back-to-back chest infections and colds for 6 months, just couldn't fully recover so they kept coming backπ€¦ββοΈ I feel for you so so much! Just keep looking after yourself β€οΈ
@neyas_mindset You should try some, it's amazing!! If only, I'd be the healthiest person going if it did π€£
I have been in PJs and chilling since getting in from work, and have drank so much water and tea today it's unreal! I just hope it clears soon! π€
@neyas_mindset Stir half a teaspoon of salt into a glass of water and then gargle a bit at a time (each bit for 10-15 seconds), spit out, repeat until you've gargled the whole glass! It is not a very nice process at all, but when it works it's better than dealing with the pain of a sore throat!
@neyas_mindset Anything fruity- mango is my current go-to! How about yours?
I feel rough as anything! I had a migraine a few days ago, which leaves me weak and more susceptible to illnesses. I'm hoping I shake it within the next week π€
That sucks so much! I hope the antibiotics clear it up!
@neyas_mindset And yeah, the salt water is foul but I have to admit it does sometimes help! You just mix some table salt into a glass of water and try to gargle some of it. My parents always said gargle a bit at a time until you've gargled and spat out the equivalent of a whole glass of water!
@neyas_mindset They market it as an "anaesthetic throat spray" - it's essentially a liquid that you spray down your throat to numb it. It only offers temporary release and doesn't target the illness, but it's better than nothing! I get mine from Tesco (but it's available in other shops too)
What annoys me most about school funding is that despite 9 out of 10 schools are facing a deficit this year, all we hear is that funding is at a record high and schools have more money than ever.
