An organization where the staff cannot ever question or challenge the boss, is not a healthy organization. Leaders who create a culture where staff never feel free to disagree with them to their face, can be assured they are doing it behind their back.
When life throws adversity my way, I no longer ask, “Why me?”
Instead, I ask, “What lessons am I learning, and how can I help others with my example of handling this adversity?”
When I walk into a school, and it becomes obvious to me that the adults enjoy working there, I immediately suspect it’s a good place for students. Strong staff morale reflects a strong culture… and that’s an environment that is good for kids… and for their learning.

It’s great to work with coaches of other sports who actively promote other programs & support in-district year-round strength and speed training.
Our kids don’t have to choose.
Play ‘em all.
Get stronger.
Get faster.
Have fun.
Learn something about yourself.
Here’s my advice as a tech coach:
Stop. Trying. All. The. Things.
And if anyone makes you feel otherwise, stop taking advice from them.
Focus on pedagogy and the student experience.
The tools are going to change tomorrow. Good pedagogy won’t.
