What Would Shaykh Muqbil Say If He Saw the Smartphones We Have Today!
Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hadi al-Wadi‘i (rahimahullah) was asked thirty years ago:
“If you have a telephone, then inform us of its number.”
He replied:
“We do not have a telephone, nor do we desire one, because it wastes our time.”

Shaykh Ibn Baz on Fanaticism for Sports Clubs & Street Celebrations
Quote: “Thus, it is not befitting for a sensible person that such success becomes a cause for rancor, quarrels, or harm toward anyone, neither in the marketplaces nor elsewhere. They come into the marketplaces in their cars as though they are lunatics.”

You Still Have Time to Sacrifice an Udhiyyah for Eid al-Adha
The time for slaughtering the Udhiyah is four days: the Day of Eid and the three Days of Tashrīq. So this year, the time for slaughtering continues until Maghrib on Saturday, 30 May 2026.
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Every one of the Days of Tashriq is a time for slaughter.”
(See Sahih al-Jami‘ al-Saghir of al-Albani no. 4537)
Whoever was unable to slaughter the Udhiyah on the first day, or was not planning to do so, still has time remaining to attain the virtue of this great symbol of Islam and tremendous act of worship.
Al-Imām An-Nawawī, may Allah have mercy on him, writes:
"Know that what we mentioned regarding the excellence of seeking knowledge, then that is only for those who seek it intending to see the Face of Allah (in Jannah), and do not have a worldly ambition. The one who has a worldly ambition like wealth, leadership, position, power, notiriety, gaining a people's loyalty, overcoming opponents, or anything similar to this, then this is reprehensible."
Al-Majmū' (1/46)
“A Righteous Wife and a Dutiful Husband in Light of the Qur’ān, the Authentic Sunnah and the Teachings of the Pious Scholars.”
The book has gone to print in the UK and Pakistan, with all proceeds going to the da’wah.
When it is released, grab a few copies, read and share as gifts to unmarried people and married couples.
