Long-term resilience and strength isn’t about denial, working harder and bulldozing through. It’s about patience, self-development, time and compassion.

I'm quite tired, but enjoying this Autumn sun; and I had my hair done yesterday which always makes me happy!
How are you? #LetsTalk

I'm ready to embrace the crisp air and falling apples, warm colours and growing fungi, crunchy leaves and earthy scents.

☀️Sunday, I was sat outside in a summer dress, under a blazing sun.
🌧️Monday, I had to swim the school run.
❄️Today, I'm wearing scarves and shivering.
What is happening with this #weather ?! Probably best to just #stayinbed.
E woke up last night, crying hysterically. "You left me, you left me - I was asking people to help me find my Mummy. Don't ever leave me again." It was only a bad dream but he felt it soo intensely.
Another impact of COVID.
Let's never forget that #childrensmentalhealthmatters
@HowWeTravelUK Both! There's wonderful experiences to be had and beautiful memories to be made (for different reasons) in old loves and new adventures 💚
Accepting my body for what it is now is something I struggle with daily. It's grown & birthed children, survived illness and surgeries, but I still resent the wobbles & scars. It's hard to forget societies unreasonable beauty standards. #bodypositivity#Loveyourself
It’s time to stop begrudging our stretch marks, moaning about our shape, or resenting our poor eyesight – and instead remember just how wonderful our bodies really are...

Found this little tag in a tree in a local park. Handwritten message with handknitted heart to hang it. The #care and #love that exists out there (even if it's not always visible) & the normalisation of #MentalHealth needs is something we all need, now more than ever #Nottingham
@kateonthinice I'd love to be featured! I started blogging after illness 2 years ago - it gave me catharsis, confidence and a new network. It inspired a career change and is genuinely the reason that my life looks different now. 😊 [email protected]
@HannahRoberts46 Apple picking and jumping in piles of crispy leaves. Wrapping up warm and spotting mushrooms in the woods. Blankets, movies and red wine. Autumn is all about taking in the smells, feeling the crisp air and embracing the comfort. 🧡🍂🌰🎃 https://t.co/gEC4GuBedG
I've never been too much of an emotional spender (I'm more prone to eating and drinking my feelings...!) but even I've noticed an increase in my emotional spending as an impact of #COVID19#mentalhealth#emotionalhealth
@matthaig1 There's the same atmosphere of simmering anger and fear that we felt towards the beginning of the pandemic, it's horrible. If only people could muster the capacity for basic critical thinking and stop being pricks!
