NMSHSA is proud to announce that just before the end of October, we were able to squeeze in a couple more registration events in New Mexico and the state of Washington!
NMSHSA has the pleasure of working with Telamon on advocacy issues that impact Migrant and Seasonal Head Start and thanks them for their dedicated efforts to bettering the lives of our #MSHS families π #MSHSworks#Celebrating55#FarmworkerFamiliesFeedAmerica#ECE
@Telamon_Corp began providing Migrant and Seasonal Head Start services in 1981 as a delegate agency of East Coast Migrant Head Start Project and became a grantee in 1992! They serve migrant and seasonal families in Georgia, Michigan, and Tennessee.
They are a California based grantee having served more than 23,000 families since they started providing #MSHS services in 1978. Each year, they ensure that families have the quality care needed for their children to allow them to continue working.
We're down to our last three grantee highlights for #HeadStartAwarenessMonth and today we have @CAPCAinc! Although their name says Central Arkansas, they also provide #MSHS services in Louisiana!
CAPCA makes a difference in the lives of 200 migrant and seasonal families and even goes beyond just educational services. CAPCA has also been a part of the Farm and Food Worker Relief Grant Program π
October is nearing its end, but we still have grantees to highlight for #HeadStartAwarenessMonth π§‘
Kicking off our last week, weβve got @WeAreCPLC! They are a grantee that serves migrant and seasonal farmworker families in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.
Another day another highlight π
Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) is a grantee that operates in the state of California serving 620 families! They have proudly exceeded funded enrollment and have been named recipients of 3 Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships.
It's @centro_ut's turn to be highlighted this #HeadStartAwarenessMonth! They have been an MSHS grantee since 1991 serving farmworker families across Utah, Nevada, and Colorado!
