@laflammerouge16@DrctTim@bernouli_2 everyone else capitulated on tourmalet in 2023
it was the tour , and it was not difficult to make all dropped helpers irrelevant
@laflammerouge16@InsideOut2912 maybe , just maybe , the others are not like this
pogi also wasnt like this a few years ago . his wins in 2023 were much better to watch
@faustocoppi60 while many fans will miss him , for sure vingegaard wont . what was the greatest help he offered him last year , the lower slopes of ventoux ?
@eliott_aime@Abraham_tri_15@CalcioMoneyball@Na1chaca less, but far from nothing. i think van gils benefitted a lot from a day off, whereas jorgenson wasnt in a condition where he could fully absorb it (unlike 2024)
@laflammerouge16 you get the same time as the rider you were with, and the group also get the same time as you since there hasnt passed 1" since your back wheel crossed the line yet.
@laflammerouge16 yes , his time is taken at that moment.
but if theres no time gap to the next rider (who arrives a minute later), the latter rider will get the same time as when the first rider crossed the finish with his front wheel
@laflammerouge16 time gap is 1" from the backwheel of the first rider to the front wheel of the rider behind
so if the first rider never cross the line with the back wheel, no time gap. at least by the letter of the rules
@lukascph@searchhhh@laflammerouge16 its one of the best ways to have the last 80 km open to tactical racing , its a superb route even if its to the hard side
@eliott_aime@DrctTim i think both 2017 and this one are fine as the last dauphine stage , the hope this year is that the yellow jersey will have to police moves on the first two climbs himself . valleys then punish you if you run out of helpers
