@WhufcSloth How does he put the ball out for a corner? With the angle of the shot he would have to gamble and flick the ball either over his head, or get a weak flick in where he barely grazes the ball allowing it to go past his far post. Neither is possible and you know that.

@WhufcSloth See now you are being unfair. These are split second decisions. The save he has made is an assured one, he has not palmed the ball into a tap in situation, he has given his defenders more than enough time to recover and defend. My problem is your critique was wrong.

@WhufcSloth The save however goes to the opposite corner of the box and has two defenders between the attacker and the goal. A 'weaker' save ironically would have probably resulted in a better outcome. As it the ball would have more likely fell to one of our players in the box.
