This is so true. There are so many levels of griefโฆit creeps in at some of the most random timesโฆOr when you hear, see or smell something familiar. It never truly leaves you.๐๐ฅบ
For all the things that divide us, grief is a universal language and a defining part of the human experience. At some point, every one of us will love someone we have to say an earthly goodbye to.
I am still learning how to walk through each day carrying the grief I feel for my Charlie. Some days I have a vague understanding of Godโs plan, others I donโt, but I trust Him completely. He is my only strength. I also know grief can be lonely, and sometimes hearing someone else put words to it makes us feel a little less alone.
I wrote this for anyone who has lost someone they love, anyone sitting in grief now, and anyone who someday will.
Suffering does not get the final word.
Only God does.

Jesus sees every tear, every hurt, and every deep valley. ๐ค We may walk through hard things, but He promises weโll never walk through them alone. He is with you, and Heโs not leaving your side. ๐
Turning 51 in 5 daysโฆAnd started my life completely over! Single, moved to Las Vegas, and starting a whole new career, totally out of my comfort zone and Iโm so happy!! FINALLY! ๐
Cheers to me & my new life.๐ฅ๐ฅฐ๐ฆ
Trying to argue with a narcissist is freaking exhaustingโฆ.Thatโs why I donโtโฆWhatโs the point?! Thereโs absolutely NO winning!๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐
Whatever I have to say, Iโll just keep it to myself.
And they should support the ones struggling instead of making them feel worse. If youโve known them long enough youโd know when theyโre not โOkโ& you should do what you can to help get them though the rough days. Sadly, some people just put blinders on so they donโt have to care.
When someone doesnโt struggle with depression & anxiety & donโt know/ understand the daily struggles of having it, then they shouldnโt criticize the ones that do. Weโre not lazy, or complaining about how weโre feeling. Weโre doing what we can to get through the day & feel better.
When you are struggling with โfunctioning depressionโ & your Dr. doesnโt put you on medication it doesnโt mean youโre OK. You still struggle to get out of bed & start your day. You still cry almost most mornings..& you still have to put on that daily mask of โeverything is Okโ.๐
