The trains started at 6:11 a.m.
Not a romance. An app notification. Service resumed. Expect delays.
Sheba stood first. The table still sat between them like it had done a night shift. Rick had not crossed it. That was the only rule that survived the dark.
“Daylight,” she said. He waited.
“Not a speech. Not the Tuesday message. That version stays on read.” She picked up her charger. “If you miss the way we used to talk, miss it at lunch. In a room with windows. Not because a flood trapped us on the same floor.”
Rick nodded once. No “I can be better.” No upgrade.

“Lunch,” he said. “Not late.”
Sheba almost smiled. Almost. Then she walked to the lift without looking back at the corner where the treaty had run out of wood. Outside, the street was just a street again. Buses moving. People going to work like the night had not tried to rewrite them. At 12:04 he was already at the café. Two seats. Phone face-down. No brochure. “This is the version that gets a reply,” she said. He didn’t reach for her hand. He pushed the extra chair in so it stayed at the table. “Good,” he said. “I was tired of performing the distance.”
They ordered in daylight. The old message stayed unread. The new one didn’t need to be sent.

The act dropped. The rule that remained was simple: if it matters, it survives the morning.

When Zeus fired Thunderbolt at Thor in Love and Thunder, Thor didn’t dodge it. He caught the weapon, absorbed the moment and hurled it straight back through Zeus’ chest.

That scene quietly showed why fighting Thor with lightning-based power is such a dangerous gamble. You’re attacking a god whose body has spent centuries channeling storms.

The angrier Thor gets, the less lightning looks like a threat and the more it starts looking like something you just gave him to use against you.

How could Peter actually afford his technology and hospital bills in Brand New Day when he’s supposedly broke and completely alone?

After No Way Home, Peter loses Aunt May, his friends no longer remember him, and he’s left to survive on his own. So when Brand New Day shows him using advanced Spider-Man equipment and dealing with medical expenses, one question immediately comes up: where is the money coming from?

Peter doesn’t have Tony Stark’s resources anymore. He has no Avengers funding, no wealthy mentor, and nobody even remembers who he is.

But Peter still has one thing: his intelligence.

He built his own web shooters as a teenager and has always been capable of creating advanced technology from limited resources.

Being broke doesn’t mean being helpless when you’re one of the smartest people in New York.

Spider-Man leaves webs all over New York every single day, stuck to buildings, streets, cars and basically anything he swings from. But who actually cleans all that up when he’s gone? Does the webbing dissolve on its own, or does NYC have a Spider-Man cleanup problem nobody talks about?

@javiN29 Stopping the train actually proves the opposite. It took dozens of webs, a huge distance and pushed Peter to complete exhaustion. Snapping a blade with a couple of web lines is a completely different kind of feat.

@DeSandTits True, but that still doesn’t make snapping a katana that easy. Blade geometry matters, but so do the steel, thickness, heat treatment and exactly where the force is applied. You can’t reduce it to “wrong angle = easy break.”
