This is just an observation. If you watch a lot of households closely, you may notice that male children are more likely to be less religious than female children. They dissociate earlier from religious activities. They are also less likely to pray.

Women, in this observation, struggle more than men with the sheer idea of just going through life without leaning onto or believing in something that provides succor, whether physically or spiritually, whether true or false.

This is not to say that men do not believe in or serve gods. This is about the relative proclivity to ruthlessly accept and direct the course of their lives without support or reliance on a command higher than theirs. If you think about it, and ask men who can articulate this, you’ll find that men intuitively recognize this very early and the more competent they become, the more exclusively they define their lives by how well they handle it—its faults, trials, challenges and beauties.

Again, this is just an observation and this is just a theory and I may be talking about marginal differences here since exclusions are many. Or I may be contextualising men in the more traditional sense.

But this is my observation over a long span of time, across different cultures or races.. Men not only rely on God alone, but in their own rights, men are actually gods.
