@_OASF directors held their monthly meeting on 12th October. #oafc

📣 Paul Prendergast resigned and we thank him for his service to the board.
🚗 Concerns over Furtherwood Road matchday access restrictions have been raised. Chris will discuss this with the club.
♿ OADID's concerns regarding persistent standing in the RRE have been raised with the club, which has committed to further action.
🤝 OASF stand returns to dart board 9 in the 1895 bar from noon on matchdays, with vintage programmes available.
🛡️ Discussions with the club regarding the badge survey and club identity are ongoing. A statement will follow.
📚 Programme sales continue, with further promotion planned and new bundle offers available.
✍️ Contributors are sought for #oafc’s official magazine, especially "The Match That Made Me". Contact [email protected].

Brief minutes:

📚 An update was provided on plans for the top floor of the OEC. The immediate focus remains on education and teaching facilities, with matchday and hospitality options to be considered in the future.

👏 The OASF sticker campaign is nearing completion, with around £1,100 available to support an Academy-related project. The club also thanked OASF for its support.

🗳️ The club has now secured a provider for the badge survey. Two options will be put to supporters, with the preferred option submitted to the regulator.
PLEASE NOTE THIS MEETING OCCURED BEFORE THE SURVEY WAS PUBLISHED. WE HAVE SINCE MET WITH THE CLUB TO DISCUSS ISSUES WITH THIS (LINKED BELOW) AND WILL PROVIDE A FURTHER UPDATE IN DUE COURSE.

🌳 Discussions continue around a memorial garden and wellbeing space, while work is ongoing to develop wider heritage and mental health initiatives.

📜 The digitisation of the Oldham Chronicle archive is underway, with volunteers being sought to support the project and preserve important local sporting history.

🚧 Progress was reported on Fans' Bar improvements, with toilet works now underway and plans progressing for a food offering to support both matchdays and non-matchday events.

The badge is an important part of a club’s identity. We recognise and share the frustrations of our members regarding the badge consultation. We wrote to the club on Thursday to seek an urgent meeting and will share more information when we are able to. #oafc
