@garyvee do you have any actionable advice for someone who didn't inherit a million dollar company from their parents (like yourself)? Not just something vacuous like "hustle harder" which seems hypocritical given the context of your privilege. Serious question.
@ZakkyZu@Kuhwaii@garyvee If you just agreed that it's similar to the Dotcom bubble then where is the "value". It seems like you should research what "speculation" is in this context and the broader concept of what a "pump and dump scheme" is honestly.
@ZakkyZu@Kuhwaii@garyvee Doesn't his story involve him inheriting a million dollar company from his parents? By "research" do you mean look up your counter arguments for you since you can't produce them yourself? I've looked into Gary and NFTs that's why I'm saying these things because they are the facts
@ZakkyZu@Kuhwaii@garyvee NFTs value come from speculation or profiting from commodity fetishism. The hustle seems to be is in hustling the buyer with the potential roi of a new trend that he has the resources from inherenting a company, to inflate value and turn a profit off of before the bubble bursts.
@Kuhwaii@garyvee Explain how exactly NFTs aren't? Just like the "traditional fine art market"? Also didn't his success come in part by his own admittance from tweeting for hours?
@Kuhwaii@garyvee It's because NFTs aren't a particularly sound investment they are a playground for the wealthy. That's why Gary hasn't replied because he can't help you in any meaningful way with NFTs its pure speculation. You bought one of the dreams he sells he's just smooth with the sell.
@garyvee seems NFTs are a highly speculative scheme to move money for wealthy investors. With profit being generated in this case by the "value" your personal brand interactions add to that speculation. Not NFTs themselves like your pumping up the value of the commodity fetishism.
