동의의결은 기업이 법 위반 혐의와 관련하여 스스로 타당한 시정방안을 제시하면 공정위가 위법 여부를 확정하지 않고 사건을 마무리하는 제도입니다.

배달의 민족은 일명 '최혜 대우 요구', '자사 서비스 우대행위', '배달 예상시간 부당광고' 등에 대해, 쿠팡은 '최혜 대우 요구'에 대해 동의의결 절차 개시를 신청하였습니다.

하지만 공정위는 두 기업이 제시한 시정방안이 동의의결 절차를 개시하기에 충분하지 못하다고 판단하였습니다.

공정위는 향후 사건 심의를 통해 두 배달앱들의 법 위반 여부를 살펴보고 제재수준을 최종 결정할 예정입니다.
