Tip for surviving heat: waterproof cool mat (dog ones good). Sports wet towel. A fan.
Soak towel in cold water, wipe as much of your body as possible. Lie on mat by fan. Fan lifts heat and does job of sweat. Keep wet towel on waterproof cool mat throughout night. #ukheatwave

@SkySportsPL But have you noticed the dirty trick Adidas has pulled on the Away Shirt? Completely different (ugly) neck design for the replica shirt than the authentic shirt. I thought the clue was in the name (‘replica’). I’ve not seen this done before, to change the actual design.

@stephensackur @BBCHARDtalk HARDtalk for me has been like how I think of In Our Time... a treasure trove of now archival breadth, and a rare case of programming that the BBC could be really, really proud of. Programming that becomes an institution unto itself. What a terrible shame, I hope you find a home.

@jamesmartinchef Sad to hear. 'Mr Norman' was my teacher in the early 90s, in an all-girls school. He was cool even back then, and such a curious character. Taught drama all week, and then was also dealing with drama theatre critics as maitre 'd at Joe Allen's in Covent Garden at the weekends!
