Anya Taylor-Joy says M. Night Shyamalan probably gave her the most helpful note she's gotten from a director:
"On Split, I remember him saying to me, "Anya, don't cry your own tears. Cry the character's tears." Because he had seen me cry before, so he knew what was mine. It completely opened a whole other universe for me in terms of character work. If I was consistently tapping into events of my own life, I feel like that well would run dry at some point, or start to feel stale or unspecific. If I empathize enough with the person that I'm playing, they walk differently, they talk differently, they cry differently, they sleep differently, they wake up differently, and that's just so much more rewarding for me."

this is actually my biggest issue with dating as whole. whole routine thrown off, habits disrupted, discipline tested just because you want to spend quality time with someone lol
People hate to admit it but there is a deadline for that intense passionate โchaoticโ love. After a certain age you approach everything through the lens of logic. You cannot afford to love the way you loved at 22 at 30
Sun conj Mercury people and not taking it personally when people donโt validate your opinions , question your thought process or disagree with you challenge
You know, Tateโs breakout hit was a sad little bedroom pop tune and over the years, sheโs really transformed into this full-fledged pop star with BIG records. Just 23 years old and she has the nerve to headline TWO festivals in the same weekend.
The kids *love* her and so do I.
Iโm entertained, sawry!
