Somehow even with $8.6 billion per year in taxes paid, LA is still completely covered in graffiti and Americans have to volunteer to do it themselves….

My wife and I volunteer once a week or at least every other week feeding or taking some kind of supples to different areas to homeless Veterans.

We all should do all we can for Veterans to show our love for them sacrificing serving our country!

A 22-year-old volunteer firefighter in Nebraska with an EMT license just wanted to make saving lives his full-time job.

👨‍🚒Andrew Coates applied to the paid department Fremont Fire.

The job posting asked for a high school diploma.
He has one.

The city rejected him because that diploma shows he was homeschooled — which Nebraska treats as unaccredited.

After turning him down, the city quietly added “accredited” to the job description.

A young man who wants to get paid to save lives shouldn’t have the door slammed because of how he was educated.

❓Aren’t they telling him he’s good enough to do the job for free as a volunteer, but not good enough for them to pay him for it?

South Carolina residents are being notified by text message that the SNAP Food Stamps program is changing to exclude sugary foods and drinks

Residents are speaking out saying these new restrictions will mean children will go hungry without candy and soda

“Healthy eating is a great thing, and it doesn't always fit in everybody's lifestyle — the children go hungry”

They say these new work requirements are also going to be a problem

“We saw a drop in the number of Americans who received SNAP dollars after new work requirements were signed into law — recipients in South Carolina dropped about 13%”

Requirements are to work or volunteer 20 hours per week. This has caused 13% of the recipients of North Carolina to lose their benefits, they don’t want to do the new requirements
