As a HO in Paeds, I had a 5 month old toddler, she was ill that day and my SR gave me the day off, said my daughter was suffering from maternal deprivation and nothing else. Truly, my girl got better with my presence alone without any meds. Dr Anolue,I never forgot! God bless u!
We've talked about medical toxicity, and it went viral.
Now, let's talk about the people who protected us from it.
The senior reg who taught without intimidation.
The consultant who corrected without humiliation.
The junior reg who treated students like future colleagues rather than inconveniences.
The person who changed your mind about a specialty simply by being kind.
Tell me about a medical elder or trainer you'll you'll never forget.
I suspect many of them have no idea how much they matter.
I'll be in the quotes and comments section.

Ladies, if your fingernails are completely bare (no polish, acrylics, etc.) give this a “like”. My daughter is convinced that “everyone” has fake nails or a manicure and I’m the odd man out. She’s 12. 😄
When you are happy,
when you are sad,
when you are depressed,
when you are full of strength,
when you win,
when you lose,
when you find love,
when your heart breaks,
in lack,
and in abundance,
Talk to God first.
@oliveKubmite The matron that is shouting how much did she pay? You would have shouted back that any matron who didn't drop ₦10k should have her licence withdrawn
@Iamindiscov@UR_VILAGEPEOPLE Nigerian men should pay more attention to their health. Check your Blood pressure and blood sugar regularly, drastically reduce or better still eliminate alcohol and other harmful substances. Be adherent with your medications when you are diagnosed with a chronic illness!!!
