@cursedconnector If it wasn’t for the fact that you can’t get premade cables for it I think I would use it instead of Ethercon + a separate power cable.

There’s so few connectors that are a standard size that can carry 50v 16a and cat 5e

@eliteobsolete Iirc there was a shure mic sold via apple that was designed for both Macs and iPhones but it predated usb-c so they had to include a lighting to micro usb cable

@_MichaelBooth_ @falco Glinet makes some of the best routers I’ve ever used, I’ve been using a glinet opal at work for the last 3 years and not once has it failed.

I think software wise Tailscale or some other solution using wireguard or OpenVPN should let it connect as if it were on the same LAN

@UnbendableStraw If you want really good colour reproduction I would recommend getting some SK6812, WS2814 or WS2805 strips, the addition of the white (both warm and cool for WS2805) improves the overall look so much

@luciascarlet @theo RGBWW is 100% better than RGBW or RGBA but RGBALC (Amber Lime Cyan), RGBAL or even RGBL can make better whites than most RGBW fixtures from my personal
