- we need to act with good evidence
- we need to avoid throwing out any babies with the bathwater. Highly regulated scope and systems to ensure this = PAs could be great for Drs + nhs

Doesn't demean the significance of the issues or no. responses, but not a RS sample

A stratified random sample seeks to take a small, practical sample that reflects the characteristics of the whole. This has generalisability and allows statistical testing.

The BMA survey was a purposive sample - only BMA members, (continued)

It may be intended as a witty quip but I still don't see how it advances a constructive conversation.

Blood sample can be assumed to represent the whole body

BMA questionnaire for 5% total docs with self-admittedly leading questions (saw that post) cannot be assumed to represent all docs.

So not *that* great a comparison.

Yes we deserve to be paid more for what we do.
Yes, we deserve better conditions.
Yes, other HCPs need regulation for pt safety
But we need to maintain pt trust as we do this.

Our perception as a profession matters because it affects this.

I don't think we have to make PAs (or any other colleagues) out to be our enemy in order to achieve any of our goals.

The comment out of context (and still a little in context) feels like a derogatory pot-shot. I'm still struggling to see what it achieves.
