Virgin Media O2 has introduced "Daisy," an AI-powered chatbot designed to combat phone scammers by engaging them in lengthy, lifelike conversations.
Daisy, trained with advanced AI technologies and scambaiting techniques from YouTube's Jim Browning, mimics a confused elderly woman to waste scammers' time.
This initiative aims to reduce the time scammers have to target real victims and raise awareness about the tactics used by fraudsters.
Daisy has successfully kept scammers on the line for up to 40 minutes, demonstrating the effectiveness of AI in protecting consumers from fraud.

📷 OpenAI unveils Swarm multi-agent framework
OpenAI just introduced Swarm, a new open-source experimental framework designed to simplify the creation and control of multi-agent AI systems.
The details:
1. Swarm focuses on making agent coordination lightweight, controllable, and easily testable through two key building blocks: agents and handoffs.
2. Agents encapsulate specific instructions and tools, while handoffs allow agents to transfer control of a conversation to another agent.
3. Swarm includes features like function calls, context variables, and streaming and is built on OpenAI’s ChatCompletions API.
4. The framework is available on GitHub with several examples, including a triage agent, weather agent, and airline customer service system.
O5. penAI emphasized that Swarm is experimental and released as an educational resource for exploring multi-agent orchestration.
Why it matters: Not only are singular agentic capabilities inching closer — but the ability to deploy systems that leverage armies of agents working together is also coming fast. Soon, the user will be the CEO of their AI company — with dozens of agents autonomously working together on complex, multi-step tasks.
Absolutely agree! Our beliefs shape the lens through which we see the world, but when left unchallenged, they become invisible boundaries we never dare to cross. Growth happens when we question, adapt, and evolve those beliefs. The real power lies in the courage to re-examine what we think we know and be open to new perspectives.
Break free from the limitations of your mind, and you'll discover just how limitless your potential truly is. 🔓✨ #ChallengeYourBeliefs #LimitlessPotential #GrowthMindset #_PiofAI

Would you scan your eyeballs to prove you’re human?
Altman’s new Orb scans eyes to verify humans
Worldcoin, co-founded by Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI), has been rebranded to World.
Along with the new name, World introduced an updated Orb device designed to verify human identity in the AI era.
The Orb scans people’s eyes to give them a World ID, which lets them prove they’re human online.
It’s also linked to WLD, World’s cryptocurrency token, though WLD isn’t available in the US.
The new Orb has 30% fewer parts, making it cheaper and easier to build.
Powered by Nvidia’s Jetson platform, the simplified Orb is part of World’s plan to make the device more widely available.
The goal is to produce thousands more Orbs, and people can even buy or rent their own to verify others in their local area.
World has also introduced Orb on Demand, a service where people can order an Orb to be delivered, similar to ordering pizza.
The Orb is being rolled out in more countries, including Costa Rica, Brazil, Indonesia, Australia, and the UAE.
Here’s what you should know:
A digital ID that proves users are human online, linked to WLD cryptocurrency (not available in the US).
1. The updated Orb is easier to build with 30% fewer parts, and production will be expanded significantly.
2. Despite 7 million verified users, World has faced privacy concerns in countries like Kenya and Hong Kong.
3. Orb pizza, anyone?
While the World platform has verified 7 million users, privacy concerns about its use of biometric data have led to scrutiny.
4. Kenya briefly suspended the project, and Hong Kong stopped its operations due to data collection worries.
5. Although Kenya has dropped its investigation, other countries like Spain and Portugal have also taken action.
6. Remember how criminals chop fingers off to bypass finger scanners? Now think about that.
