The player jumped from in bounds to catch the ball so it isn't dead until it hits the ground or he hits the ground with possession. Which is even more time not being calculated.

@ztmcadoo @ScottHanson If you're going backwards you can heel tap like the toe tap going forward. The lead part of your foot is what you need. Going backwards the lead part becomes your heel. If he toe tapped and then came off the ground again, that would be a catch too.
