It's early research, and more work is needed to understand what these findings could mean for future testing and diagnosis.

Interesting research from Oxford University, where scientists have found clues that may help us better understand who is at risk of developing aggressive prostate cancer.
The researchers found differences in blood proteins between men who later developed prostate cancer and those who didn't, including some proteins associated with more aggressive forms of the disease.
On average, men in the UK die almost four years earlier than women, often from preventable diseases.
Men often put off looking after their health. From heart health to cancer checks, knowing risks and getting things checked early is important.
Our friends at Prostate Cancer Research have some good news! Parliament will debate prostate cancer screening on Monday 26th October, following their Proactive for Your Prostate campaign.
More than 100,000 people signed their petition, calling for better access to screening for men at higher risk of prostate cancer.
They're now asking people to contact their MPs ahead of the debate, to encourage them to attend.
Did you know that men aged 50 and over can ask their GP for a free PSA blood test, even if they have no symptoms? Black men and men with a family history of prostate cancer are at higher risk and can discuss testing with their GP from age 45.
Our free tests are available to men aged 50 to 70, Black men aged 45 to 70, and men aged 45 to 70 with a family history of prostate cancer or whose mother has had breast or ovarian cancer.
Please remember to bring your NHS number.
The research we’re funding at the University of Surrey is looking at developing a vaccine that could help prevent prostate cancer returning after surgery.
We’re getting so close to our target now, and we’d love your help to get us over the finish line.
