We know that, no matter how much he’s been hurt or how much anxiety he’s faced, he has always strived to protect his group and his fans.
He has protected your bias, his fans, and beyond that, to be someone his country, culture, and all of Asia can be proud of.
To belittle him lightly without recognizing that effort and integrity is nothing short of foolish and shameful.
@Brwnbnnygrl @itboycunts Don't see the reason to bring another group into a conversation they aren't a part of...especially when what you're saying is false

Billboard — “No K-pop group, or group in general, has been able to accomplish what BTS has this century. From creating a global community to expanding Kpop well outside of its genre. BTS truly paved the way.”
What’s blowing my mind is that Mic Drop didn’t always have this type of a response. Yes, it was a fan favorite. Yes, the fanchants were always crisp. But if you watch them back, especially now, after the series of Mic Drops we’ve gotten, you can very clearly tell there’s a different kind of fire driving the fanchants now compared to before.
And I’d bet anything, it’s to do with everything bts and army have had to put up with and live through since that unforgettable festa dinner.
It’s everything piled up; the amount of crap we went through, the slanders, the attacks, the never ending harassment.
That’s what changed. Our drive. Our fire. It was always there but over the 3 plus years, there were many many attempts to put out that fire. But we just came back with a vengeance. To burn hotter. Higher. Brighter.
I think that is what’s making every single Mic Drop performance what it is today.
The ot7 fanchant that gets louder and louder every show, that is coming from everything we’ve been through. It’s a war cry symbolising that we are here, we waited and we never left.
And the MIANHAE EOMMA. I think I speak for everyone when I say that is the one that’s coming from the most visceral places in our hearts. It’s from our soul.
Because it’s for Yoongi.
That’s it. There is no other explanation as to why that part alone gets monumentally deafening each time. Because it’s for Yoongi. Because it is us screaming with every fibre of our being that we have and always will stand by him and that bts is always 7.
I get chills now everytime I hear Mic Drop. Chills. And then I get emotional.
This is why.
