Marcus Aurelius was saying that we don’t have to form an opinion about every event, person, or situation we encounter.
Most of our stress comes from trying to control things that are outside our control like other people’s actions, world events, traffic, politics, social media drama, or the opinions others have about us. We often add to our own suffering by constantly judging these things: “This is terrible,” “This shouldn’t happen,” “Why are they like this?”
His advice is simple: if something is beyond your influence, you don’t need to give it power over your peace of mind. Not every situation requires a reaction, an argument, or even an opinion. Sometimes the wisest response is to acknowledge reality, focus on what you can actually do, and let the rest go.
It don’t mean being indifferent or ignoring problems. It means directing yo energy where it can make a difference. When you stop fighting things you can’t change, you free yourself to act effectively on the things you can.
“You always own the option of having no opinion. There is never any need to get worked up or to trouble your soul about things you can’t control. These things are not asking to be judged by you. Leave them alone.”
― Marcus Aurelius
The mouth always reveals the contents of the heart. Let people talk without interrupting them. Let them talk, without adding your two cents, opinion, or judgment, and they will spill out every aspect of themselves. Just listen. Listen for understanding. Listen for clarity.
You have groups on this app specifically for gender wars, political wars, race wars, diaspora wars, rage baiters, etc. And demoralize the person dat doesn’t agree wit you, especially getting their large number of followers to agree wit em. That’s a form of gangstalking btw.
Social media is psychological warfare. By definition, psychological warfare is the planned use of propaganda and other psychological tactics to influence the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behavior of opposition groups or individuals. It aims to demoralize the enemy, influence public opinion, or achieve other strategic objectives without direct military force
Scholars explain that this trumpet isn’t a literal plastic or metal musical instrument, and it doesn't use human breath. Its a cosmic tool of divine energy that creates a universe-ending sound.
Jibreel's Saihah (shout) mentioned in 36:29 functioned exactly like that, but targeted at just one city.
Quran 37:19
It will only take one Blast, then at once they will see ˹it all˺.
This describes the blast of the trumpet 🎺 made by Israfil, one of the 4 archangels in Islam. Aka the Angel of the Trumpet. The size of the trumpet is described in Islamic texts as large as the universe. And because the horn is so huge, a single blow will instantly vibrate across the entire planet, through the layers of the sky, and into every corner of the universe. The size of the horn matches the size of Angel Israfil himself. In Islamic tradition, archangels are described as cosmic giants. Israfil is described as having wings that stretch across the East and West.
Islamic traditions state that the Hour will strike suddenly while people are going about their normal lives—trading, eating, and talking. The sudden loudness will catch everyone completely off guard.
The initial sound wave (often called Nafkhat al-Faza or the blast of terror) will physically stun the body. It will cause the ears to ring and the heart to shake with overwhelming biological fear.
As the sound echoes, the physical world will begin to tear apart. The Quran describes mountains crumbling like wool and the oceans boiling over. Seeing the universe disintegrate around them will cause unmatched psychological terror.
The fear will be so deep that human instincts will break down entirely. Surah Abasa explains that when the "Deafening Blast" comes, people will actively run away from their own mothers, fathers, spouses, and children because they will be too consumed by their own sheer terror

Angel Jibreel as a creature of immense light and power—described as having 600 wings that cover the entire horizon—that release of energy manifested in our physical world as a devastating sonic and concussive wave.
Quran 36:29
"All it took was one mighty blast, and they were extinguished."
Context: A faithful man (Habib al-Najjar) urged his city to follow the messengers. Instead of listening, the people killed him. So angel Jibreel (Gabriel) killed them with a single shout. The shout is described in Arabic as a Saihah (صَيْحَة). Rather than a loud human scream, it was a terrifying, supernatural, and world-shattering heavenly blast.
Scholars like Ibn Kathir note that the sheer sonic force and terror of the sound were so overwhelming that it caused the peoples' hearts to burst inside their chests. The shockwave immediately stopped their breathing and blood flow, killing everyone in the town at the exact same moment.
For Angel Jibreel, this "shout" was a direct release of cosmic power and energy. It did not have words, a language, or a human voice tone. It was a pure, overwhelming sound wave. Angels true celestial forms do not have human biological systems, vocal cords, or lungs.
Quran 37:28
The misled will say, “It was you who deluded us away from what is right.”
Quran 37:29
The misleaders will reply, “No! You disbelieved on your own.
Quran 37:25
˹Then they will be asked,˺ “What is the matter with you that you can no longer help each other?”
Quran 37:26
In fact, on that Day they will be ˹fully˺ submissive.
Quran 37:27
They will turn on each other, throwing blame
