PSG want €130m for Barcola and €50m for Mbaye.
Chelsea are selling Delap for £45m and Jackson for £70m.
Arsenal are getting £65m from Al-Hilal for Martinelli.
City sold Marmoush and Savinho for over £130m.
But Man United couldn't sell Rashford despite valuing him at just £26m, had to loan Bayindir to Vigo instead of an outright sale, and are waiting on a bid for Zirkzee before getting a backup striker.
Nothing is ever straightforward for Man United.
Cristiano Ronaldo once said that when people speak positively about him, nobody cares. But the moment someone says something negative about him, it becomes the biggest story.
And honestly, this is exactly why people hate him so much. 😭
Now I know why people bad about him…..
Arsenal are replacing Zubimendi and Eze with odegaard and Skelly, while Chelsea are replacing Lavia with Gusto in midfield. The difference in squad planning is honestly crazy.
We’ve spent over £2 billion on this squad, yet we’re still improvising in key positions. That level of spending should have given us a much more balanced squad.
Since BlueCo came into the club, it feels like things have gone backwards. We keep finding ourselves outplayed by Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United.
After spending that kind of money, this simply shouldn’t be happening. It’s genuinely crazy.
Honestly, as a #MUFC fan, I've reduced all the hope and expectations I have for my club this season.
I'm going to enjoy football as a neutral because my life revolves around football. I'm still going to back, support and cheer for Manchester United with everything I have, but I'm not going to lose sleep over the obvious setbacks I can already see coming.
If the owners aren't showing ambition, there's no point investing too much emotion into the club.
I'll support from the sidelines and enjoy the sport.
I want to watch football matches and have a good time, whether my club is playing or not. I'm watching every big game in the Premier League, Serie A, Champions League and La Liga.
I just want to enjoy the sport I love.
I'm one of the biggest Barcelona and Arsenal haters you'll find, yet I've been singing their praises since yesterday because, as a neutral, they gave me exactly what I want from football: pure entertainment.
I'm going to become more of an analyst rather than just a club fan.
I'll still bleed Manchester United, but I'm not allowing football to consume me anymore.
I want to enjoy football, not enter depression because of it.
Martinez gave the ball away against Ipswich which lead to their second goal (a simple pass to a teammate or clearance would have prevented that) and made an unsuccessful clearance which led to a lose ball that was recycled to set up Tarique George for Everton's first goal. His recent performances for United are concerning and very different from what we saw from him at the world cup.
His qualities on the ball are not questionable but two big mistakes in two starts should make every fan concerned and asking if he deserves a contract renewal.
No doubt having de Ligt and Martinez fit for a full season in addition to Maguire and Yoro make us defensively better and increase our chances of winning trophies. But the failure to phase them out after seasons of proving they can't be relied on is a blame INEOS can't hide from. Saliba is injured and Arsenal bought Konsa. City triggered Laporte's release clause in January and bought Diaz because of injuries to their defenders. What's our excuse for not doing same?
It's a recruitment issue and if INEOS get credit for rebuilding the attack and midfield, they should also be blamed for failing to replace injury prone players.
Some of us always have a problem of trying to look for a person to blame when things go wrong😑 …You mustn’t blame anybody, if you play football , you will understand that you could have a great day at the office but just be unlucky, it doesn’t make them bad players ..
I believe everyone who played had a decent proper “away game” performance for Manchester United …Everton has not been a easy meat to chew for anybody since Moyes came in, and you face them at Goodison, we could have won the game , that goal was the kick of that game, if the ball had not gone in, the referee would have ended the game, i just feel we were so unlucky
Rashford had a good game, which would have been more talked about if we had won, the substitution came on and did his Job like he should , Tielemans, Kobbie Mainoo,Bruno Fernandes ,Mbeumo all had a good game, a good enough performance that deserves a win, we were just unlucky 😔…We could have ended the game too at 2-1 , we had a couple openings we could have taken advantage of , but we didn’t and it came back to haunt us….
The defenders and the goal keepers gave their all, they put in their best, but , that if football, if we had won, these performances would have won plaudits..
So it’s too early to start over reacting..Let’s keep going game by game ..We need to first gain stability, a couple back to back wins too will boost the confidence of the team …
@igonor_philip That's because people are responsible for things going wrong.
A team professional ballers can't kill off games. It's very much in the players.
I watch Barco, I watch Amad, I watch Mainoo, I watch Estevao and I wonder why these wonderful players struggle with game time, recognition and trust. While the likes of Lamine Yamal, Fermin Lopez, Jude Bellingham, Xavi Espart, Cubarsi, Arda Guler and so on have a lot of recognition and praise.
I discovered that truly English football doesn't appreciate young players. If these players I have just mentioned from English clubs played for Barcelona, they would have been better off. England has to start prioritizing young talents.
@The_Greatt10 Barcelona has always been about that. Trusting young and technically sound footballers to develop into the next big stars. It has always worked for them.
I honestly cannot get over Martin Ødegaard's performance against Chelsea yesterday.
I've almost never seen a No. 10 who can control the tempo of a game while still doing his primary job of creating and contributing to the attack.
And I think that's what makes Arsenal so attractive to watch when they're at their best: Martin Ødegaard.
Declan Rice is world-class, but he's not a flashy midfielder. He gives you defensive protection, carries the ball well and contributes in several areas, but he's not your ideal tempo controller.
Then you have Myles Skelly, who is an absolute baller. What amazes me is how good he already is without even turning 21. The potential is ridiculous.
He gives Arsenal carries, defensive work, tackling, ball-winning, pressing and the ability to break up play. And more importantly, he complements Rice perfectly, which makes Arsenal's midfield incredibly difficult to penetrate.
But Ødegaard is the player who makes the whole thing tick.
He leads the press. He knows when to pass, who to pass to and how to pass it. He's technically secure and uses that security to make the game look easier than it actually is.
That doesn't mean he's perfect. He has bad games. Sometimes he holds onto the ball for too long when he should release it quicker.
But when Martin Ødegaard is playing at his absolute best, there aren't many midfielders in world football who can touch him.
And I'm not saying this because of one game against Chelsea. I've watched Ødegaard at his best and at his worst, and that's how I've arrived at this conclusion.
Arsenal fans, just pray that Ødegaard stays fit and plays at his best this season.
Because when he's flying, you get some beautiful football.
It's also no coincidence that one of the most entertaining versions of Arsenal we've seen under Mikel Arteta came during the period when Ødegaard was at his best, scoring 15 league goals in a season.
Ødegaard makes Arsenal tick.
